The ANF

The Australian Newsagents' Federation (ANF) is the peak industry body established to represent newsagents across the nation. Its fulltime office, based in Sydney, commenced in 1996.

The ANF's role is:

• To promote and protect the common interests of all persons and companies in Australia engaged in the business or trade of newsagents or newsvendors;
• To represent Members with government and agencies;
• To represent Members with publishers and other suppliers for newsagency industry considerations;
• To constantly seek out and implement commercial services for newsagent Members so that they can maximise their return on their investment;
• To promote the industry image by attending to required releases and statements, as well as industry and public relations;
• To liaise with industry associates on national, regional and local issues;
• To administer and promote national 'N' identification;
• To publish a national magazine to effectively communicate to newsagents and industry partners.
