Carolyn Doherty
Editor (National Newsagent magazine)

Carolyn Doherty has worked with the ANF since 1996 after running her own retail store for a number of years. She has been the face and voice of ANF communications via the National Newsagent monthly journal and N View annual yearbook ever since. She has been kept very busy reporting on industry news, views and interviews for proactive newsagent readers.

Carolyn loves painting, gardening, music and red wine!

Queenie Fung
Accounts Manager

Queenie worked with Polartechnics Ltd, a company specialising in the development, production and sale of cancer scanning equipment, before joining the ANF in January 2005. As Accounts Manager at the ANF, she is in charge of payroll administration and the financial management of our organisation.

She enjoys good food, reading, travelling and is interested in natural therapies.

Lusii Halaapiapi
Western Union Coordinator

Lusii joined in 2003, having previously been employed as an Administrative Assistant for a taxation company. As WU Coordinator, Lusii sets up all new Western Union locations, sends out Starter Kits and handles account queries. She also prepares commission reports, creates info kits/manuals and liaises with WU daily on behalf of agents. Lusii can answer queries regarding WU accounts, correcting transactions, updating information and suspicious customers.

She enjoys team sports (touch footy and Oz Tag) and cooking.

Louise Henry
Western Union Account Manager

Louise joined the ANF Western Union department in 2001 as a one man shop, looking after 400 newsagencies. As time went on, locations increased and so did the number of staff in the WU department. Louise’s role has changed dramatically from processing the daily banking to installing and upgrading Western Union software for all newsagents in Australia. She oversees the smooth running of the Western Union department and has developed strong relationships with many newsagencies. She is famous for picking the perfect presents for staff for all occasions.

Trish Hunt
NSW Member Services and Bill Express Liaison Officer

Trish started at the ANF in November 2006. She and her son Rob owned a phone card distribution company called Biz Communications for a number of years and after they launched international phone cards into the marketplace they were invited to launch Optus and Vodafone prepaid products. They sold their business in 2001 and Trish took on the contract to launch Dialtime whilst Rob was gallivanting around the world. He came back in 2002 and they started working together launching Bill EXPRESS. At the ANF, Trish looks after membership recruitment and services as well as Bill Express issues.

Carolyn Moloney
Training & Membership Manager

After finishing her university studies in Psychology and English Literature, Carolyn began work at the ANF at the beginning of 2005 in the Western Union department. She rejoined the ANF after a break away and now organises the Accredited Newsagent Industry Training Courses, which involves processing enrolments, organising speakers/catering/venues/materials as well as administrating ANF membership applications and keeping the ANF central database updated.

She loves animals (especially Joey her dog), the beach, sun and quiet places.

Brooke Robinson
Advertising Manager & Editorial Assistant (National Newsagent magazine)

Brooke joined the ANF in May 2007, coming from Macmillan Publishing after graduating from university where she studied literature and philosophy. She has also worked for Angus & Robertson and Flat Chat magazine. At the ANF, she sources and manages magazine advertisers for National Newsagent, writes articles, proofreads and handles all subscriptions.

She enjoys reading, writing, Stanley Kubrick films and decorating her fridge with Japanese kitsch.

Tracy Rolls
Communications Manager

Tracy joined the ANF in July 2005 as Advertising Manager/Editorial Assistant for the National Newsagent magazine. She now oversees the ANF database and is working closely with the developers to introduce further modules to the current database structure. Tracy also maintains the ANF website, compiles the weekly e-newsletter ANF News and handles general technical issues at the ANF's NSW head office.

She loves music, drumming, dancing, playing video games, reading and scotch whiskey!

Stella Song
Accounts Administrator

Stella joined the ANF in April 2007 after finishing her studies at Macquarie University. After initially working in the dedicated Western Union department performing the daily banking and handling Western Union issues, Stella changed roles in January 2008 to become an ANF Accounts Administrator, handling monthly reconciliations, general transactions and administrative tasks.

She enjoys playing the piano.
