Contracts

When the industry deregulated, the ANF, under an authorisation from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), played an active role in negotiations with publishers as they implemented contracts for newsagents. The ANF has a detailed knowledge of the contracts in place and assists Members on an ongoing basis in the interpretation of contractual conditions. It also offers assistance in the form of advice with preparation of submissions to publishers and by direct representation to publishers on the Member's behalf.
